Chicago robber hits 2 banks in 8 minutes

A bank robber wasted no time on the city's West Side Friday morning, hitting two branches of the same bank in eight minutes.

The first robbery took place just after 9 a.m. Friday morning at the North Community Bank in the 1500-block of North Damen.

Eight minutes later, the same thief hit the second branch in the 1600-block of West Chicago Avenue.

The robber didn't have a weapon and no one was injured.

The suspect is still at large.
