Chicago police are investigating a suspicious fire that killed a 60-year-old man.

It happened about 4:40 Saturday morning at a building in the 4200-block of West 63rd Street.

Firefighters said the victim had been seen at a second floor window calling for help.

But when crews got inside, they found him near the door.

It appears James Moca died from smoke inhalation.

The fire was in a neighboring apartment but no one was there at the time.
