A suburban Carol Stream man pleaded guilty today to aggravated DUI for driving his truck into a moving freight train.

Prosecutors say Jeffrey Fisher admitted he was drunk when he drove into the train in September of 2011 in Itasca.

The impact killed his girlfriend Eve Meyers who was in the passenger seat.

Prosecutors dropped additional charges against Fisher as part of a plea agreement and will seek a prison sentence of up to 10 years.
