Members of the Guardian Angels were out early Wednesday in Chicago's Brighton Park area handing out flyers and escorting riders to the CTA Orange Line along with students heading to school.

Their efforts were in response to a series of recent sexual assaults against women and girls on the South Side during the early-morning hours.

The most recent attack was last Sunday in the Brighton Park area.
