A day after they were released from jail, nearly two dozen healthcare activists returned to Woodlawn Mental Health Clinic for a rally.

"I saw elders handcuffed, when they need treatment," said activist Eliza Solowiej. "I saw people locked up when they just need healthcare."

The protesters were in a vacant lot across from the clinic.

They were joined by nurses and other members of their community.

The activists were arrested after staging a sit in inside the clinic Thursday night.

They're urging Mayor Emanuel to keep the clinic open, fully funded and staffed.
