There's a new mission for a Chicago school that closed its doors this summer.

St. Scholastica announced this weekend that the United Neighborhood Organization, or UNO, signed on to lease most of the school and open a new charter school September 4.

St. Scholastica was an all-girls Roman Catholic school.

As part of the lease deal, the third floor of one of the buildings will become a senior academy so girls currently enrolled can finish out their education together.
