Pub crawl has some residents complaining

December 13, 2012 (CHICAGO)

Tunney says on one hand these events have been around a long time and on the other some that draw huge crowds may need to get more attention from the city.

"We have to be very careful on crafting something that works for the community and works for the businesses and trying to find some medium ground," Tunney said.

The alderman says that may involve limiting the hours of pub crawls or their size.

He says he'll work closely with various city departments to come up with the right policy.
