Two bodies have been found inside a burned out home on Chicago's Southeast Side Wednesday and police are now classifying the deaths homicides.

The damage to the building was restricted to the first floor. There was not much damage throughout the rest of the building.

The firefighters went through the building and found bodies of two women inside the first floor unit.

They were pronounced dead on the scene and the medical examiner has determined that they were both stabbed to death before the fire was set and it is being investigated as a homicide.

Neighbors said that the two women moved in fairly recently.

The medical examiner said the victims were 24 and 43 years old. Their names have not been released, pending notification of family.
