Chicago marks World Autism Awareness Day

Chicago hosted several of nearly 3,000 buildings around the globe took part in Tuesday's World Autism Awareness Day.

The buildings were bathed in blue lights to bring attention to the disorder.

A recent survey by the Centers for Disease Control found that 1 in 50 children have an autism spectrum disorder.

They are characterized by difficulty communicating and socializing as well as repetitive behavior.
