The View co-host appears at Black Women's Expo

April 6, 2013 (CHICAGO)

The View co-host spent time at McCormick Place talking with attendees about "doing it all" as a busy on-air host, mom and entrepreneur.

"You can be a different woman every night of the week," Shepherd said. "If you broke up with your boyfriend, don't chop your hair off! Just put on a short wig. If you want to feel how Beyonce feels, we got a Goddess wig for you.

"It's just so many different looks you can achieve with all of the wig lines that I have. So I'm wearing one right now, my taper tomboy because I feel like I'm hot flashing, and I didn't want anything on my neck. So I put on short hair today."

Some 30,000 people are expected to stop by the Black Women's Expo this weekend.

Attendees even had an opportunity to try out for Jeopardy while they're there.

ABC7's Ron Magers and Stacey Baca were there taking photos and signing autographs.
