Study finds distance really does make the heart fonder

With so many of us living far away from loved ones because of military deployments, dual-careers, even college- sustaining a romance is not without its challenges.

But a new study suggests that dreaded long-distance relationship perhaps shouldn't be dreaded at all.

There may now be medical evidence that absence really does makes the heart grow fonder.

The report in the Journal of Communication finds living miles away from your sweetheart may actually create stronger bonds and higher levels of trust and satisfaction.

That compares with those who are geographically closer.
