Art exhibit cancelled after Trotter confrontation

Friday night's exhibit featuring the work of students involved in an after school photography program has been abruptly cancelled after a reported confrontation involving Chicago chef Charlie Trotter.

Students from the After School Matters program say Trotter had agreed to let them use the space of his former restaurant as a gallery, but they say Thursday night Trotter kicked everyone out.

Friday, they were allowed to return to retrieve the photos.

The program's CEO says they're working to re-schedule the exhibit at a different location.

Trotter has not commented.
