September 30, 2013 (MORTON GROVE, Ill.) --
All lanes of the Edens Expressway were back open Monday morning after a deadly accident shut the expressway down for several hours late Sunday. A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle near Lincoln Avenue in suburban Morton Grove.
It was not clear how the man ended up on the expressway. His name was not being released immediately.
