January 4, 2014 (FOREST PARK, Ill.) --
A deployment ceremony took place Saturday in Forest Park for an Illinois National Guard unit headed to Kuwait. The members of the 108th Sustainment Brigade are from across the state but most come from Chicago and the suburbs.
They will be headed to Fort Hood, Texas before going to Kuwait.
The unit is scheduled to return to Illinois in the fall.
