Inspiration and art came together at an exhibit Thursday night. Art in Motion was hosted by the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.

It raises money for the institute's art therapy programs.

Chicago-area artist Mariam Pare took part. She's always been an artist, but after suffering a spinal cord injury that left her unable to use her hands, she learned how to paint with her mouth.

Her artwork is used on cards, calendars and other products.
