BP Whiting refinery spill search resumes, no more oil seen

Members of a survey team say they do not see any more oil in Lake Michigan, nearly a week after the oil spill at the BP Refinery in Whiting, Indiana.

Improved weather conditions allowed cleanup crews and surveyors to head back to the lake Sunday.

High winds and waves forced them to suspend activities for two days.

The Coast Guard released pictures of the surveyors working outside the Whiting refinery Sunday.

They will continue to monitor the shoreline at least until Thursday.
