Police warn of violent robberies near Columbus Park in Austin

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning about a string of violent robberies in the Austin neighborhood on Chicago's West Side.

Three people were robbed in or near Columbus Park this month. Police said that in each case, a group of young men punched and kicked the victim before taking their property.

Incident times and locations are listed below:

-200 block of South Central Avenue on May 17, 2016 at approx. 7:45 P.M.

-5600 block of West Jackson Boulevard on May 19, 2016 at 7:35 P.M.

-5700 block of West Jackson Boulevard on May 22, 2016 at 2:00 P.M.
