CHICAGO (WLS) -- Time now for Festival Friday, and this weekend, it's all about the Easter Egg Hunts!
The Annual South Loop Easter Egg Hunt gets underway at noon Saturday and runs until 2 p.m. at Chicago Women's Park & Gardens.
Festivities include hunting for more than 15,000 eggs, a petting zoo, games, prizes and visits with the Easter Bunny!
The Easter Egg Hunt at Gallagher Way is also on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes live music, face painting, themed beverages and of course the Easter egg hunt for the kids!
The Long Grove Bunny Hop is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Historic Downtown District.
Make sure the kiddos bring baskets to collect goodies and then enjoy face painting, coloring stations, visits with real bunnies, and a meet with the Easter Bunny!
Saturday is the last day you can take photos with the Bunny at the 900 N. Michigan Shops.
They'll have plenty of other fun activities like, spring crafts for the kids, mimosas for the moms, and dads, egg decorating classes and more!
On the theatre beat, the newly reimagined production of Peter Pan is now in performance at the Nederlander Theatre. Join Peter, Tinkerbell and the rest of the crew on a trip to Neverland through April 7!
And Jersey Boys just opened at the Mercury Theater. The behind the scenes story of Frankie Valli and The Four Season and all the incredible music runs through May 19.
