Actor Stacy Keach portrays Hemingway in ?Pamplona? at Goodman
Stacy Keach will portray Ernest Hemingway in the Goodman Theatre's production of "Pamplona."

Stacy Keach is a film, TV and stage star who has a long list of credits. He stopped by WCL to talk about his career and his latest role at the Goodman.



Among Keach's roles include his best-known role portraying Mickey Spillane's tough detective Mike Hammer in two different TV series "The New Mike Hammer" and "Mike Hammer, Private Eye." He is also Matt La Blanc's dad in "Man with a Plan," the Catholic Archbishop in "Blue Bloods," and the voice of HK Duff in "The Simpsons." His film roles include "The Bourne Legacy," "Cell," "Truth" and a voice actor in the animated movie "Planes." He won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Ernest Hemingway in the 1988 TV Mini-series "Hemingway."



Keach is also a trained Shakespearean actor and said live theater is one of his passions. He has starred in many Goodman Theatre productions in Chicago under the direction of their Artistic Director Robert Falls.



He returns to Chicago to once again portray Ernest Hemingway in the riveting play "Pamplona."
