CHICAGO) (WLS) -- More than one million people ate their way through Grant Park during The Taste of Chicago 2014.

Chicago's five-day food fest was cut down to just four days due to the weather, which led to a decline of attendance from last year, city officials said.

However, that didn't keep attendees from gobbling up Chicago goodies on the other days. Visitors managed to eat 7,200 Chicago Style Hot Dogs, 35,000 slices of cheesecake, and 15,000 Original Rainbow Cone ice cream cones, just to name a few items (full list below).

More than 300 items from 64 restaurants and food trucks were on the Taste menu.

"We consider this year's Taste of Chicago a big success despite having to cancel a day for the first time in event history," said Michelle T. Boone, Commissioner of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, in a statement. "The crowds were incredible and the concerts, the diverse menu items and good weather for four of the five days delivered a terrific festival."

Saturday night's performances by Jeff Tweedy and Lucinda Williams were canceled. The concerts are free, but people who purchased tickets for guaranteed seats at the Petrillo shell for the performance will be refunded. The same goes for the Pure Leaf Celebrity Chef du Jour dinner.
