Corrections officer killed in crash on Dan Ryan
The officer has been identified as 41-year-old Angelina White, according to the sheriff's office.
Illinois state police say White lost control of her SUV at about 10:30 p.m. Friday while driving in the northbound express lanes on the Dan Ryan expressway at 47th Street. The SUV struck a bridge pillar and a cement median.
Police say White did not have her seatbelt on and was partially ejected.
