Citgo gas not allowed in Bolingbrook

A new gas station in Bolingbrook is allowed to sell any gasoline it wants as long as it's not Citgo.

Citgo is owned by the country of Venezuela. Its president, Hugo Chavez, has been very vocal about his anti-American views.

Bolingbrook officials say little compensation was given to the company when Venezuela took over Citgo, so Citgo gasoline won't be sold in their town. They say the developer of the gas station is welcome to sell gas from pro-American oil companies.
