Retailers warn against buying products on auction sites
The National Retail Federation is advising consumers to think twice about buying products like painkillers, cold medications, baby formula and beauty items through auction Web sites.
The organization says more than two dozen types of health and beauty products sold on those sites are stolen.
Some can be contaminated because they are not stored in temperature-controlled environments.
