The bodies were discovered Tuesday afternoon in the garage on the city's near northeast side. Police say they may have been there for several days.
Autopsies will be conducted Wednesday to determine the cause of death. Police say they will check carbon monoxide levels in the garage.
Police say it's unclear how the victims knew each other.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit was called to investigate but handed the case back to South Bend police.
