Nursing home director faces neglection charges

That's how Marty Himebaugh is described in an indictment. She worked at a nursing home called the Woodstock residence where there were six suspicious deaths. She is accused of giving patients dangerous doses of drugs.

Himebaugh faces criminal neglect and drug charges. The current director of the facility, Penny Whitlock, is also facing felony charges of neglect and obstruction of justice.

"These indictments and arrests follow a very extensive 15 month investigation conducted by the Illinois State Police," said Louis Bianchi, McHenry County state's attorney.

Bianchi would not comment when asked if the two women were conducting mercy killings.
