Wis. teen held in burglaries accused of shooting at 2 homes

APPLETON, Wis. Seventeen-year-old Anthony Spoerl was charged Monday with two felony counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and two misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property. His initial court appearance on the new charges is set for May 22.

No one was reported injured.

Spoerl has been held in lieu of a $50,000 cash bond on 25 counts of burglary, attempted burglary and criminal damage to property as a result of an alleged three-month burglary spree during the winter. He faces a competency hearing May 13 in that case.
