About 600 ComEd customers are still without power after Thursday night's storms. As many as 25,000 people were in the dark at one time. There was also some damage, much of it to trees. The strong winds took out branches and downed trees in Skokie.

The storms also knocked down power lines in Glenview. Crews worked through the night to get electricity back on.

As the storms swept through, some people got caught in torrential downpours.

Both airports had delays: At O'Hare, delays averaged about 90 minutes. At Midway, some flights were about 2 hours behind.
