High-end wine sellers suffering

The economic downturn is putting a bad taste in the mouth of high-end winemakers. The market for expensive wine from France is slowing. Top vintages are no longer attracting top dollar at auction.

Wine auctioneers are asking wine sellers to lower their expectations and bring down costs by 10 to 15 percent if they want their wine to sell.
