Efforts renewed to find Evanston woman's killer

Sunday, a renewed effort was launched to find Linda Twyman's killer.

Twyman was killed November 27, 2005. Her friends and family met with police near the scene of the crime late Sunday afternoon in Evanston.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for her death.

"The case has progressed over the last three years. Iit has been steadily worked. The friends and family members have been heavily involved and very helpful with the investigation. We're at a point now where we have several angles. We feel pretty good about," said Ryan Glew of the Evanston Police Dept.

Evanston police have set up a tip hotline in the case. They also distributed flyers Sunday containing reward information around the neighborhood.
