CHICAGO --Venus Davis and Tony LeFlore were first in line at the Cook County Clerk's Office Friday morning.The standard 24-hour waiting period was waived by Cook County Clerk David Orr, who married them on the spot. It's Orr's tradition since 1991.
After the brief ceremony, Orr presented the newlyweds with a number of gifts, including a weekend stay at the Palmer House Hilton and theater tickets.
The couple met at U.S. Cellular Field, where Davis works. Both are Sox fans.
