The ceremony took place at a funeral home on South Cottage Grove. Some of the mourners came with flowers. Others hugged each other in grief over the loss of 13-year-old Johnny Edwards. The seventh grader was walking with two other teens February 20 when, police say, someone killed them with an assault rifle.
Martin Ybarra, 20, is charged with three counts of first degree murder.
