China's minister of commerce visited Chicago Tuesday for a meeting of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Chen Deming enjoyed lunch before speaking to the gathered crowd. He discussed China's economic relationship with the United States.
Chen says he would like to see the U.S. further open its markets and encouraged more investment between the countries.
Mayor Daley and his brother Bill Daley, who is currently chairman of the Midwest region of JP Morgan Chase, spoke at the luncheon.
