June 5, 2009 (CHICAGO) --A train and a car apparently collided on the city's South Side along the Metra Electric Line Friday morning. It happened at a railroad crossing at 90th and Baltimore. The fire department says one person was hurt in the accident, which impacted service on that line. There were no fatalities.
On the Metra Electric South Shore branch, trains experienced about a 20-minute delay. The train involved in the collision, #408, was only delayed briefly as well.
