More police hit streets for summer

Chicago gets another 100 police officers on the streets Wednesday. Last month, Police Superintendent Jody Weis announced several new crime-fighting measures for the summer. they include the extra officers, paid for with federal stimulus money.

Other measures included curfew crackdowns and more officers moved from desk duty to street patrols.
