Former NBA player and Chicago native Antoine Walker faces charges for allegedly passing bad checks in Las Vegas to cover gambling debts, according to a report in the Las Vegas Sun Tuesday. Walker is accused of failing to repay more than $822,000 in gambling debts to three casinos in Las Vegas.
He's accused of passing more than $1 million in bad checks while taking out markers at various casinos.
The former NBA all-star has played for the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics and most recently the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Two years ago Walker was robbed at gunpoint inside his Chicago home during a home invasion.
