July 15, 2009 7:17:41 PM PDT
Police now say the two Harvey children who went missing Tuesday have returned.Police say Hynephia Armstrong, 15, took her niece Verniyah Gammons, 3, for a walk on Tuesday afternoon and didn't return. Armstrong's mother brought the two into the Harvey police station on Wednesday, saying the two had been in Chicago.

Harvey police, fire and sanitation department workers had been searching for the two in a wooded area near the park where the two were headed on Tuesday. Family members hoped for the best.

Hynephia has run away before, said Armstrong, but she was especially concerned because she was with the 3-year-old.

Police classified the teenager as missing. Verniyah was considered abducted.
