Site recreates Apollo 11 mission

A new Web site is interactively replicating the first moon-landing mission in real time beginning Thursday morning.Apollo 11 lifted off at 9:32 a.m. EST on July 16, 1969. Forty years later, WeChoosetheMoon.org is replicating, minute by minute, the whole mission with audio, sketches, video and more so visitors can experience the entire mission through the moon landing and return.

The project was designed by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in conjunction with AOL an dthe Martin Agency.
