Bears with relatives, friends on Ft. Hood react

News of the tragedy spread quickly, including to some players with the Chicago Bears who have loved ones at Fort Hood.No relatives or friends were hurt.

Cornerback Peanut Tillman who used to live on the base immediately thought about his father who is retired from the army and currently works at Fort Hood.

"I spoke with him last night, he was good my heart and prayers go out to the families of the ones who were lost I think it's just an unfortunate situation," said Charles "Peanut" Tillman, Bears cornerback.

"It was a lot going through my head hoping all my friends and the people I went to school with were all right I got back in the car and I had a bunch of text messages and everybody was alright," said Tommie Harris, Bears defensive tackle.
