Officials from many government agencies are cooperating in a three-day emergency drill that began in west suburban Bensenville on Tuesday. The area is now a virtual ghost town because the former residents were relocated to provide land for O'Hare expansion.

A robot used to detect possible explosives was part of the drill. It includes officials from Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, the federal government, police and fire departments, department of aviation, emergency management and communications, Red Cross, and Salvation Army.
