Poll: Preckwinkle leads Cook Co. president race

January 22, 2010 It shows Alderman Toni Preckwinkle with a significant lead, with incumbent Todd Stroger in last place.

The Chicago Tribune poll puts Preckwinkle at 36 percent. Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown is now at 24 percent. Metropolitan Water Reclamation District President Terrence O'brien gets 16 percent of the vote. And current board president Todd Stroger is in fourth place now with 11 percent.

Fourteen percent of voters remain undecided.
