The school board is considering a list of proposed financial reductions because state aid will be down by at least 10-percent to 15-percent next year.
The proposed cuts include 51 staff positions; 31 of those are teachers. The cuts could save the district more than $3 million.
Teacher layoffs must be approved at the March 15 board meeting.
Non-certified employees- including custodial staff and nurses- will be notified in April.
