March 13, 2010 (CARPENTERSVILLE, Ill.) --It turns out the piece of debris that crashed through the roof of a house in northwest suburban Carpentersville Friday did not come from an airplane.Police confirmed the 3.5-lbs. metal object was from a landscaping company near the house. The object came to rest in the home's bathroom.
The property owner was not home at the time of the incident but covered the hole with plastic Friday night.
The landscaping company says it lost the part Friday when it broke off of a wood grinder.
