The Emerald Ash Borer, an insect blamed for killing at least 50 million trees, apparently has been found again in west suburban Wheaton.

The city's forestry division is awaiting confirmation from the Illinois agriculture department.

After an infestation in 2007, Wheaton removed almost 400 trees.

The emerald ash borer has killed trees in 11 states and Canada.
