Bensenville businessmen charged with hiring illegal aliens

April 27, 2010

The businesses supply temporary workers to warehouses, authorities say.

Clinton Roy Perkins, 65, of Wayne, Ill., and his son-in-law, Christopher J. Reindl, 40, of St. Charles, Ill., are the president and office manager, respectively, of Anna II, Inc., and Can Do It, Inc., both located at 801 Golf Lane, Bensenville, authorities say.

Each man was charged with one count of unlawfully hiring illegal aliens between October 2006 and October 2007.

Federal authorities also allege Perkins and Reindl repeatedly withdrew funds in the amount of $9,800 from bank accounts to pay their employees' wages in cash, believing that withdrawing amounts less than $10,000 would avoid triggering the banks' currency transaction reporting requirements.
