July 9, 2010 (CHICAGO) --Two alert police officers arrested a man suspected of being the bank robber known as "The Double Dip Bandit."The officers were on patrol near Humboldt Park when they spotted a man on a bicycle who resembled photos they had seen of the Bandit.
The suspect is identified as 45-year-old Thomas Riley of Chicago. He is charged with robbing a TCF bank on West Irving Park Road in March.
Riley is thought to be responsible for at least 10 other attempted robberies.
