IEMA finishes flood damage assessments

August 16, 2010

Workers from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency have finished their flood damage assessments.

Officials say they finished up their walk-throughs of the flooded out suburbs this past Friday evening and Saturday.

Now, they'll put together all the information and documentation they gathered and pass it on to Governor Quinn's office. The governor will then need to pass all that along to the Federal Emergency Management Agency or FEMA which will either approve help for flood victims or not.
