The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. at 201st and Oak. Two people living in the home were injured and taken to a hospital to be checked out. They were not seriously hurt.
Police said Saturday night that Dominique Catron, 25, has been charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and driving off the roadway.
"We were very surprised to see the car into the bedroom. We're just hoping in the future, since something like this happened, that we can get some poles at the end of the block to make sure this never happens again," said resident Mose Carroll. "We're fortunate no one was in the bedroom at this time or it really could have been a tragedy."
There's been no word yet on what caused the car to crash into the home.
