A "gourmet" spin on your typical cheese ball with goat cheese, light cream cheese, and veggie cream cheese and walnuts for toppings (omega 3 fix). Use Kashi crackers for dipping of homegrown apples or veggies. Fun to make and fun to eat!

Cheesy Tailgate Football
Serves 10-12

  • 1-8 oz. container Meijer Light Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1-8 oz. container Meijer Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1-8 oz. container Meijer Onion and Chive Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1-4 oz. pkg. Goat Cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Meijer Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, goat cheese, and mozzarella cheese until smooth. Put cheese mixture in football mold wrapped with plastic wrap. Put mold in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Remove cheese from mold, flip over on flat place and top with your favorite toppings. (To have cheese ball look like a football, cover with coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans and use cucumbers for the laces or pipe cream cheese through a plastic bag.)
