As of the latest update Tuesday:
8th District: 13 absentee ballots were tallied, 8 of which went to Melissa Bean; Joe Walsh received five. About 500 absentee ballots remain unreturned. 22nd State Senate District: Three absentee ballots were received were votes for Michael Noland. About 250 of them remain unreturned.Not all absentee ballots will be returned or returned on time; the deadline is November 16. If an absentee ballot is returned, it does not guarantee that a voter voted in every race.
