Sketch released in Far South Side attempted kidnapping

Officers say the man attacked a 16-year-old girl who was walking to school last Tuesday morning in the 11700-block of South Wallace. Police say he pulled a gun and forced the girl into an alley, but she managed to get away.

Police say the same man also approached an 18-year-old on August 11 around 8 a.m. in the 11800-block of South Normal St.

The attacker was described as a black man, 16-20 years old, 5'7"-5'9", 150 lbs, with black hair, brown eyes and a light brown complexion. The attacker was last seen wearing a turquoise and navy blue hooded sweater, dark blue jeans and black Nikes.
